This gave her front line experience and understanding of the medical industry and regulatory compliance. She quickly grew beyond the practice of nursing and transitioned her medical knowledge to the business and legal side of the industry. This led to her position with an international medical equipment supplier operating in both Canada and the United States with suppliers in China. Simultaneously working as the Director of Operations she attended law school at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, MI and the University of Windsor in Windsor, ON obtaining marks of Great Distinction. Having a law degree in two countries, Ms. Lois Li transitioned her role to General Counsel & VP of Legal handling all tariff, FDA and HIPAA related legal matters. Purchasing medical equipment in China and selling in the United States and Canada demonstrated to Ms. Li that the world is growing smaller every day.
